BIO Bee Chen is the Treasurer of the Australian Academy of Law. A former Malaysian Rhodes Scholar, she taught Law at both Southern Cross University and Bond University and is a former Head of Law at Southern Cross University. Her specializations are ADR (especially on Sino-Western Negotiation and Mediation), Contract Law and International Law. She is a Fellow of the Cambridge Commonwealth Society, and Society for Advanced Legal Studies, London. Bee Chen is the Deputy Chair of the Governing Council and Member of the Risk & Management Committee of Greystone Institute in Brisbane. Bee Chen’s interests include Theatre, and she recently produced ‘It’s Time’, a play based on actual events dealing with Australian Vietnam-War veterans battling PTSD and how theatre can act as a healing tool for them.
