Sydney Roundtable - The Insolvency System

"The roles of the state and the private profession in the insolvency system: do we have the right balance?"

This event was held 4 August 2021 hosted jointly by the Australian Academy of Law and the Ross Parsons Centre, University of Sydney.

Mr Michael Murray and Professor Jason Harris presented a discussion paper on their criticisms of the insolvency system and how it might be reformed.  The presenters are the joint authors of Keay’s Insolvency, (11th ed pending).

The event was well attended by Fellows and Invitees, the presentation generated a lot of questions from the participants during and after the Roundtable.
