Biography
Associate Professor Heather Roberts is an internationally recognised legal scholar specialising in judicial studies, property law, and constitutional law. Her pioneering research in judicial swearing-in ceremonies and judicial biography was awarded an Australian Research Council DECRA Fellowship. She has published extensively with leading journals and publishers, and undertaken collaborative projects with a number of Australian courts. She is also an award-winning educator and has developed innovative programs fostering national and international judiciary-academia collaboration, and has established strategic partnerships advancing diversity and inclusion in the legal profession. Her professional service includes leadership roles with the National Judicial College of Australia and Australian Association of Constitutional Law, as well as advisory work for government on judicial appointment protocols.
