Since the Final Report of the Royal Commission into Misconduct in the Banking, Superannuation and Financial Services Industry was presented to the Governor-General on 1 February 2019 it has attracted much attention and comment.
Our perspective will be to look for the lessons to be learned from the Report by lawyers.
Although the Report did not focus on the conduct of lawyers, what it said about the conduct of participants in the financial services industry has implication for the legal profession.
