Integrity Commissions - Role and Powers 

The next Michael Coper Roundtable for this year, to be held at the High Court from 5 to 6.30pm on Wednesday 5 May. The speaker is the Hon Murray Kellam QC, former Judge of the Victorian Court of Appeal and acting Judge of the Supreme Court of the ACT when he presided over the retrial of David Eastman. He was also Chief Commissioner of the Tasmanian Integrity Commission from 2010 to 2015.

Murray will look at the proposed Commonwealth Commission against the prism of the experience of existing Australian bodies and the legislation under which they are established.

This is a member only event. If you will be in Canberra on 5 May and would like to attend please register by Friday,  30 April 2021. Due to COVID-19 restrictions the maximum number of attendees is 20. You are asked to arrive early as only 2 people are permitted in the lift at the one time and you will be required to check in using the QR code from the Canberra App or otherwise provide contact details.
